The Forest Spring Trip at KTM COLLEGE OF ADVANCED STUDIES

In observance of International Mountain Day on December 11th, the Nature Club organized a field visit to the hidden gem of Madarikund to celebrate the beauty and ecological importance of highland terrains. The group was accompanied by the Faculty-in-Charge (FIC) of the BMC and Mr. Abdul Rasheed P.C., Head of the Department of Commerce. This breathtaking forest retreat offered students a firsthand look at nature’s wonders, featuring crystal-clear waters cascading over ancient rocks and winding through a canopy of vibrant trees. The visit emphasized the vital role mountains and forest springs play in sustaining local biodiversity.

The excursion provided a refreshing day of immersion as students enjoyed bathing in the cool, forest-sheltered waters while learning about the local flora and unique geological formations. Under the guidance of the faculty members, participants discussed the significance of preserving such untouched habitats from environmental degradation. By connecting with the terrain of Madarikund, the Nature Club successfully highlighted the theme of International Mountain Day, fostering a deeper sense of responsibility toward protecting our natural landscapes for future generations.
